SUMMARY:Fred Hutch Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Seminar Series - Dr. Emily Hill
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nEmily Hill\, PhD\, RDN\nResearch Instructor/Fellow\nDepartment of Pediatrics\, Section of Nutrition | University of Colorado School of Medicine | Anschutz Health and Wellness Center \nEmily Hill\, PhD\, RDN\, is a Research Instructor and Fellow in the Department of Pediatrics\, Section of Nutrition\, University of Colorado School of Medicine Anschutz Health and Wellness Center.  Trained in nutrition\, cancer survivorship\, and clinical and translational research\, her research centers on the need to more precisely define the relationship between dietary intakes and cardiometabolic health within the context of obesity and cancer\, in order to develop and implement sustainable behavioral interventions to improve health and enhance longevity along the cancer control continuum. Currently\, she is conducting a factorial pilot optimization trial of a nutrition program for weight management in cancer survivorship and exploring biomarkers of dietary exposure and multi-omics integration to predict and evaluate response to intervention. \n“The future of precision survivorship: optimizing behavioral interventions using -omics insights”\nTuesday June 24\, 12:00pm\nFred Hutch Campus – Arnold Building\nConference room M4-A805/817 \nLight refreshments and treats provided \nPlease contact Kari Dempewolf (kdempewo@fredhutch.org) for more information. \n  \nFlyer- Dr. Emily Hill
